![]() Day & Age $7.99 The Killers are, in a word, brilliant! Its guitar-driven pop infused with keyboards...ever so British-esque. And "Day & Age," the band's third studio album, is a delight to behold. God bless Brandon Flowers and Co. Need I say more? ![]() Sam's Town $13.98 Some really well-written reviews here already, so I may be in the minority here as Sam's Town is vastly superior to The Killers initial album in my honest opinion. I thought of a new wave-Queen sound when listening to this CD as it has an almost operatic quality to it. And it's just loaded with hits (very catchy tunes). This CD firmly establishes the band as not some other flash-in-the-pan; they indeed are the real deal. One of just a handful of modern bands that I'd really like to see live. ![]() Human $0.99 I've always been a huge fan of The Killers, but Human is the song that really made me love them. It's incredible song, with insightful and meaningful lyrics. We need more songs like these in modern music ![]() The Killers - Live From Royal Albert Hall [Blu-ray] $24.98 We've seen them play two awesome shows live, but I think we had just as much fun watching this DVD at home. The video clarity and color is stunning in 1080p and the DTS-HD audio is exceptional. The energy and excitement of The Killers show translates beautifully. This is definitely one of those experiences that makes you happy you upgraded your home theater setup to HD. This BluRay is a bargain at $15....I don't understand how you can be upset you didn't get an audio CD as well. I also picked up the CD/DVD version for $13, added the CD to my digital library, and payed it forward by giving the standard CD/DVD to a friend. Add another Killers fan to the list. $28 for a BluRay and Audio CD? I'll take that deal every day. |
