I loved the original "Guess Who" as a kid, so when my son turned 5 recently, I thought it was time to initiate him. And as a family of Disneyphiles, this edition seemed perfect.

My son got the hang of it quickly, and now enjoys playing. Besides being fun, and something we can do together, "Guess Who" is great for building skills such as categorizing (finding all the characters with feathers in their hats) and problem solving (deciding whether "Does your person have black hair?" or "Is your person a princess?" is the better question, and why) that pre-schoolers and kindergarten-age children are learning to develop.

The fact that the cards are full of Disney characters means young children are likely already familiar with the faces, a quality that will facilitate the learning-to-play process and appeal to most kids (lots of parents, too).

As others have mentioned, the game can be rather annoying to put together, and is not of the best quality, but in fairness, most of my son's toys these days fall into that category. I have not had any problems with card holders snapping off or cards falling out, though. And once the game is put together initially, it's pick-up-and-play.

This is a great game to enjoy with your children.

We bought this CD before a Guess Who concert to re-familiarize ourselves with their songs. They played almost every one at the concert! Bus Rider sounded better in concert than on the CD. Their new lead singer is not as good as the original singer on the CD.

I was going to buy the "Adivina Quien" game, which is the Spanish version of Guess Who? but found this. For about $10 more you get 5 more character option pages. This is excellent for foreign language students to practice colors, people traits, etc. My students have enjoyed asking the questions in Spanish.
