I had to put the pieces together and my five-year old played a little while and some pieces fall apart, he struggled a while to put them together and failed. Now he no longer touches these. He loves cars and loves play legoes, but this one may be too much for him. It took me quite bit time to put them together in the first place.

Shine Set Repeat

Considerring how overdone "metalcore" is these days, you'd expect that bands would start bringing some new elements to the table. "Shine Set Repeat" does not. This has to be one of the least original cd's I've heard all year. Packed full of recycled uninteresting guitar riffs that often (and predictably) jump into break downs with vocals that start with a high scream but quickly descend into a low gutteral, are constant throughout the record. Even the live show lacks (which in the case of bands like FBTMOF can make up where their music lacks)the music is sloppilly played and muddy sounding. None of the so called influences on this band (Soilwork, Arch Enemy etc)are even present when listening to this. Perhaps Norma Jean, or other HXC Colorado legends "Lenore" are, but not the blindingly talented riffs of bands like Soilwork or others.
Bottom Line: if for some reason you DON'T have a million metalcore albums, or this genre is completly new to you, you might consider checking these guys out.
