I honestly think this was a decent book.His first book is much better though. I like this book because it gives us the inside look at what happened in the guys life that we would never know. And the only way we know is from this book. I actually believe the guy.I can tell most people who gave this book bad reveiws hated the T.o. before they ever opened the book. So buy this if you are you t.o. fan.

I've been using bands from bodylastics since september of 2008. for a personal reason, going to the gym became a tough option for me and I had to pick an alternative. The workout that bands can provide could be challenging. you can duplicate a lot of same movements with the bands that you do at gym.
With my experiences, I lost a lot of muscluature from working out with bands only. However, I got more definition. I believe working out with these bands are very good for conditioning type of training if you make it intense enough. but for muscle building, still traditional weight training with free weight or machines can't be beaten. Most importantly! ( especially realizing most of the reviews here are based on more of first impression of the product rather than actual review of the product so far,), about every 4 to five months, one of the bands snapped.
At first, I thought I was overstretching them. after speaking to a customer rep, I realized I wasn;t doing anything out of ordinary, although he said on the phone conversation that I must be doing something wrong. They just don't last long and that's the problem. Im not sure if it's the problem with only bodylastics or other brands too, but I'm thinkinig to try other brands at this time. Cutomer service is good but still, I guess I got sick of having a band snapped on almost regular basis.

I'll keep this review short:
This is not a fitness book, so much as a "buy T.O.'s bands", "buy T.O.'s supplements" and "T.O. is a big celebrity" book. Now, I don't even mind a book like this, as long as the fitness and eating advice is sound. This book doesn't even have that. You'll find better exercises if you just look up on the internet. Worst of all, the eating/diet advice is simply horrible (I'm referring to "teens should have popcorn for mid-afternoon snack" type statements). The book is full of completely trashy and unscientific eating advice.

Please do yourself a favor and skip this book. If you do like celebrity workout books, try LL Cool J's book.
