I was reluctant to get this one, but it turned out to be a very good horror flick. It had plenty of creep factor, it spared no one, kids, women, anybody in it's path, love it. Not a 250 million dollar production, but quite good.

This 2004, 86 minute film by MGM starring Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Scott, Johnny Knoxville and Neal McDonough is packed with action.

Chris, played by Dwayne Johnson is a soldier returning home only to find his small home town isn't as it was when he left.

Drugs, corruption and gambling have taken over the town and caused the closure of a community business while he was away serving his country.

When a drug problem hits home, Chris takes the law into his own hands and starts reclaiming his home town that belongs to the people that live there.

Non-stop action. Great story.

I have this movie in my personal DVD collection. It's a keeper!

The life of the late Terence Cardinal Cooke has been a great inspiration to me. He suffered greatly during the last few years of his life. Fr. Groeschel sets out a wonderful portrait of a man who was totally devoted to God and his people. During the last nine years of his life, Cardinal Cooke suffered from cancer. Yet, he did not wish that be known. He did not wish to be "a lame duck Archbishop". He would receive chemotheraphy and then continue the arduous schedule of the Archbishop of New York. He kept this up for nine years. It is for this reason that the Catholic Church is considering making him a saint. He was one who spent his life for God and his people on earth.
