 Swallow Mobile $22.50 I have these in a corner in my bedroom where there is nearly constant low airflow. They turn and move so gracefully and in sometimes unexpected trajectories. I often love to watch them and daydream. Highly recommend for adults as well as children. I'm back on Amazon to order a couple for friends - would also make unique Christmas/Birthday gift. I got it very quickly and was more than pleased with the quality, price and promptness......  Swallows and Amazons: The Big Six $24.95 Filmed by the BBC back in the 1980s, this is a beautifully done movie (originally produced as a six part TV series but you wouldnt know that from the DVD production) of Arthur Ransomes book of the same name. It stays faithful to the plot, the actors suit the parts perfectly, the period (1930s Norfolk Broads in England) is reproduced lovingly. Nothing in the movie for any parent to disapprove of. All in all its a great movie for kids and for adults who, like me, read and enjoy Arthur Ransomes Swallows and Amazons series. There were two of these series made, the other is Coot Club, the first of Arthur Ransomes two books set in the Norfolk Broads. |
