 SAS Survival Guide Handbook (Collins Gem) $7.99 It's a good read. It covers the basics. I didn't expect the book to be the size of my palm, but it's content is enough for the average Joe. Now if you're being dropped into the Amazon jungle by yourself, then I wouldn't recommend it.  Black Ultimate Survival Knife 15" W/ Compass $39.99 You'll cut yourself, not survive made in china BS... Quality is terrable. The handle not connected to the blade properly, like 1/2 inch insite a handle connected thru soft plastic tread. Start use it and you'll brake a handle...  Whistle Creek Survival Kit in a Sardine Can $14.00 This is such a wonderfully nutty item suitable to buy for anybody on any occasion...but the survival kits are so cool that I suggest you buy at least two for each recipient - one to open and look through and one to keep intact!  Classic Survival Tool - Credit Card Size, Solid Stainless Steel $4.99 I've had numerous times where this product has helped me out. This is so portable that I can always have it with me. I see no reason why I'll ever not carry this thing. One con is that the position of the two blades make it such that using it is slightly awkward, but I suppose that's unavoidable. |
