The movie is a little corny but very cute. Helen Slater is a good actor to play the part of Supergirl. The storyline is entertaining and simple but cute. There is enough action in the movie to maintain the attention of DC Super hero fans. There is fairly good depiction and related story to the comic book story. I alreayd know the story from the comic book and found the story's ability to appeal fair and entertaining.

My daughter is crazy about super heroes so I was thrilled to find a set that included two female figures for her. My disappointment though, is that like all other female heroes the figures are scantily dressed and make Barbie look flat chested. I would love to see a female action figure that encompasses strength and beauty without while wearing a costume that actually rivals that of her male counterparts. I know my daughter will enjoy playing with these, I'm just disappointed that this is how all the female super heroes that I see are portrayed.
