This was a really good 4-part series about some very important environmental problems. It shows just how important it is that we watch what we are doing to the world: Carbon emissions, putting crap in the water, killing off predator animals, and introducing destructive animals into new environments. Really just boils down to the main problem... there are WAY too many of us, and we aren't taking care of the place!

Ed Norton is a favorite actor of mine, and he took the subject matter very seriously. 3 of the episodes were focused on issues, which I had not seen covered in any great detail anywhere else! It was great how they showed us a mystery about nature in a downward spiral, and then showed scientists and "nature detectives" working to find a solution. In some, they were actually learning to swing things around, but we are faced with an overwhelming question: Will the worlds' masses be willing to make hard sacrifices to fix what we've done unless our governments make certain practices illegal and the punishments enough of a deterrent!?

This should be shown to every student and governmental leader, but more people need to care.

First off - read the description carefully. This book contains 30 images of art and one page of text. The reproductions are very nice and the large format shows them off well.
The description states that these are frameable.
I guess they are in the sense that any illustration you can cut or rip from a book is frameable, but there is no simple and neat way to do this.
Know also that each page has an illustration front and back and basically, taking out one image will mess up the book a bit.
The sample images given on Amazon are a pretty good cross-section.
Whether you like the choices or not is going to be a matter of taste of course, but there are a good variety and you're sure to find a thing or two that you'll really like.
This is an inexpensive indulgence for fans of Pulp art.

Now for those who still have yet to see this movie, it has lots of grown up material. So if you aren't old enough to see naked ladies and suggestive material, please skip this. To many, it would be a disturbing film. In ways, it even disturbed me. But some of the dialogue really struck home and made a lot of sense. Too much sense.

I usually don't get the character names down pact, and this movie was no different. I remember Lenny (the main character), Mace (Angela Bassett) and Faith. But basically in a nutshell this movie was about Lenny and his lust for his old flame, Faith, who is now with someone really not worth her time. You see Lenny made a pact with Faith that'd he'd always have her back and he falls and falls for her time and time again.

Mace has Angela playing your typically strong black women who doesn't take much (....). She is Lenny's friend and will pretty much see him through thick and thin. They make a really good team.

The main premise also involves this crazy virtual reality device that lets you experience "altered" realities that you can't quite experience in the real world. If you're not careful though, many bad things can happen with them.

I don't wanna give too many hints out but I think you should watch this movie if you are 17 or older. It's got a lot to offer although a bit strange sometimes.

It felt very indie to me and not very Hollywood. Maybe it's just me.

It also felt quite fresh although I had seen the movie beforehand years and years before tonight.

5 stars = A+
