![]() Driven to Kill $22.98 How many seconds in the opening minutes did the camera stay focused on a string of pearls lying on the floor? Answer: A little less than 6 seconds. An indication of boredom to follow! How many times can a person make money off of retreads? Answer: Over 30. How many times have Seagal's movies involved him having a family member killed/abducted by bad "whatevers"? Answer: Most of those 30. How many weapons in Seagal's movie arsenal? Answer: Lost track. How many times does he intersperse gun play with fight scenes using his stiff as a board "move your hands around" and pan the camera? Answer: Almost every movie. How many of his movies have "kill" or some variation of "death" in the title? Answer: 8. How many times did I fall asleep and not even bother to finish the movie? Answer: 1 and that's sufficient to resolve my mistake. ![]() Under Siege 2: Dark Territory [Blu-ray] $28.99 This is one of those "in the mood" flics. You just have to be in the mood for a "no-brainer". The action is typical Segal, and the premise stretches things, many times more than a bit. There are several excellent scenery shots which almost make the Blu-ray format worth it. Other than the satellite gimmick, one can almost believe the rest of the plot. The cast, for the most part, turn in a professional job. Seagal almost smiles enough that you can be almost sure they don't have a mannequin doing the role. Not a bad piece of mental candy, if the price is right. ![]() Out for Justice $12.98 I really enjoyed watching this movie. Seagal is the man and his movies are action packed and entertaining. I would recommend this to any Seagal fan who hasn't seen it yet and you can't go wrong with the price either. I hope they bring more of Seagal's movies to bluray as I will buy them all! ![]() Fire Down Below/Out for Justice/On Deadly Ground $14.98 I'm waiting for this movie on Blu Ray. It's a good action flick. But more than that, it shows life in a little-known part of America. It also has a great soundtrack, some of which Steven Segal wrote. As someone who grew up in those mountains, I appreciate that the locals are treated with the respect they deserve. The line, "My children are all I have..." haunts me, as while growing up in those mountains, I heard it more than once. Steven Segal at his best: lots of action, the bad guys get what they deserve, and the local music is showcased. So, when do I get it on Blu Ray? |
