My football fanatic son (12 years old) loves these things - we have them for a few other teams as well. They are not big enough for him to play with outside with his friends, but they are PERFECT for inside.

When we watch football, for 10+ hours every Sunday during football season, he wants a football in his hands at all times, and he loves to toss it up and down as he watches, or have a few passes with us during commercials. This ball is great for that because it's small so he can hold it in one hand and it's soft so I don't mind him tossing it in the house.

As I said, we have 3 or 4 of these so I can address durability: They last about 2 years and then they start peeling and crumbling. I think $15 is money well spent on 2 years of fun.

A word about price: Occasionally, and randomly, amazon will have one team or another's ball priced at $85 which is ridiculous. Of course I don't recommend buying these at that price!

Bottom line: An excellent and inexpensive little football for indoor play, or for outdoor play too for the younger kids. Highly recommend!
