I was a little disappointed, upon opening the box to see there were only 2 discs. But then I realized, it must have been a short season. It was a really good show & I've watched both season's several times. I really wished the show had not been cancelled, especially so early on as there were so many scenarios that could have had a really interesting outcome. I thought the show's writers were right on in their depiction of what it's like in the "Female Corporate World" & what it takes to juggle a home life & a career.

I can't remember when I laughed so hard reading a chick lit book, or enjoyed the quirky plot twists more (hot sex with a homeless hunk who lives on the beach---well, why the hell not---it's freakin' FICTION!) I read the book in one day and found it quite entertaining and well-written.

Maybe it's because I wouldn't know a Manolo from a marshmallow, or because I live in the boonies of Louisiana, but I found this to be a refreshing, light, laugh-out-loud insider look at the lives of the Hollywood infamous. No doubt Ms. Grazer did do a bit of research on people she rubs elbows with---but that thought made it even funnier to me---that some of these dysfunctional wackos might actually exist!

If you're looking for a fast, funny escapist read, grab this book. Oh, and "Maneater" is almost as funny as this one. I refuse to part with either of my copies. . . my friends can just buy their own books this time!

I never saw or heard of this movie before last week. I just rented it from Blockbuster because I like Dermot Mulroney and Amanda Peet. Since renting it last Sunday, I have seen it 5 times. This is now one of my all-time favorite love stories and I usually HATE movies that don't have the typical happy ending. This ending was not typical but very satisfying. I am now going to purchase it on Amazon because in my opinion, it is a must-have in any DVD collection. If, before seeing this movie, I had read a review that had told me to bring a box of kleenex, I would have avoided it at all costs but in this case, the tears are cathartic, not distressing. Really, Griffin and Phoenix makes you think and cry and hope and want to see it again and again.

I read this book again after having gotten it as a present from a girl's night over party. Lots of detail makes you understand the many avenues and turns. A regular soap opera. I read it and passed it along again.
