![]() StarCraft: Dark Templar--Twilight (Starcraft: Twilight) (Bk. 3) $7.99 It's the 'conclusion book' syndrome. I felt that the whole plot just got dragged and stretched all along the book. I mean, the first book was cool and all, had different settings and elements, but not many aliens; then, pow,in comes the second book and all gets crazy + awesome. Then, here we have the third book, which, although it doesn't disappoint, it's far more passive and with less plot material than the ones before. The last few chapters were action packed but it was too little, too late, and even that felt rushed. I did appreciate the ending and the character interactions in general; didn't seem forced or too ackward (a tad bit perhaps), and it did reveal some very interesting info algon the entire book. In overall, an good choice for SC fans. Now, the complete series is an awesome and entertaining read; I'd give it a 4.5/5. ![]() Starcraft $11.99 Over the last 10 years that I first installed STARCRAFT I have replayed it countless of times. Every time a new overhyped game disappoints me, this is one of the games I pull out of my library to be reminded what a GREAT PC GAME LOOKS & PLAYS LIKE! (others include UNREAL, BALDUR's GATE, GRIM FANTANGO and SHOGUN:TOTAL WAR) Everyone has his/her favorite RTS and no one can claim that STARCRAFT introduced the futuristic RTS genre (that would be DUNE). Nevertheless, the great, crisp and clear graphics, the balanced units and the strategic terrain all contributed into turning STARCRAFT into a true classic. This is a game that passed the test of time, not only because its aging graphics are still acceptable but also because it is one of those games that stays with you. Forever. So, the next time some gaming industry MBA (who probably could not tell an RTS from an cRPG) tables the idea of LIMITED INSTALLATIONS, what he will have primarily accomplished is to have his game forgotten within a year. ![]() StarCraft 64 $58.99 This game is another blast in the past for me as it was a game I played heavily when I was younger. It's still as good now as it was then! Addictive gameplay, great story, and well hell the graphics don't look half bad. This is a great game and everyone needs to play it at least once!!!
