I am a huge hiker/backpacker & I LOVE this idea! However, "the whiz" is made entirely of a soft pliable material that collapses far too easily. Although this originally is WHY I purchased this product, it turns out that it's too soft. So when you press firmly against yourself to keep from tinkle escaping, it ends up collapsing & you flood yourself!

Also, look at the picture & see how flat the tube is in reference to where your urethra goes? Well, this is IMMPOSSIBLE to use with your pants up because you end up having to bend the tube up & over the zipper of your pants! Because of this, you need to press even harder on the cup part (in fear of leaking), which just causes it to collapse even more!

I'm currently searching for another such item that has a FIRM upper barrier & larger angle. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED & WOULD NOT recommend! It's as if it was designed by a man that has no idea about female anatomy!

This book has a lot of information about various types of squat toilets. It briefly mentions bidets and electronic toilets and local practices. I got the feeling, however, that the author was trying to make the book as long as possible, because of some repetetiveness. There were enough practical suggestions to make it worthwhile, though.
