I bought the Cyclops CYC-S6X to replace a similar unit whose battery had worn out. It works great and is even brighter than the old one. It is so bright that I can identify animals in the tops of trees almost a 1/4 mile away. The batter life is pretty good and the positioners are designed and work well.

This light is super bright! if you point the light to the ceiling you can light up a whole room! better than the room light that I have. (the light that in my room like just like everyone else, so my room is not dark with the light on but the spotlight make it even brighter)

Honestly I don't have any complain. expect 2 things that bothers me. (this is why 4 stars)
1. is the size of this thing. it is actually quite big.
2. is the battery life, i ony charged is once so far (3 or 4 months ago) and use it couple times like 5 maybe. and the 5th time i was fixing my light in the room for about 10 minutes with both light bulbs on (It is double light bulbs by the way). after 10 minutes i could noticed that the light start to dim, but it is still a lot brighter than any other flahlights in my house. so then I turn one off and it still can work for few mins.

so I hope they built something with the same power but smaller size and better batteries life, if possible that would great!

I guess I innately assumed it wasn't going to be a spotlight I'd mount on my car to find lost kittycats. I initially pictured it as mood lighting, specialty lighting, ambiance. I have it shining on a bust of Shakespeare, and it's perfect for that.

I can see the seller's dilemma, though. There are spotlights and then there are spotlights. This is a spotlight with six little LEDs, and so I suppose they assumed too much of us. Don't buy this expecting to become an EquiSearch volunteer. Buy it to set up some interesting lighting effects in your home.

too much money for what u get. in print it looks like a good piece of equiptment to have, but it only last at full charge for less than 12 minutes. i have already send it to the trash can where it belongs.
