Tis blanket is good for the beach or picnics. It's pretty big when it is spread out but it packs down to a nice small size. The only complaint I have it that the underside of it which is the side that is water repellant, is very slippery to step on.

Took this on a slot canyon hike. Fortunately did not get it wet, but came close many times. I am sure it would have been fine as I tested it before I went. I had lots of stuff in other dry bags which were a pain to close as you had to get most of the air out first, and still they "balloon". With the eVent, you can get the air out all the way. I love the bag (have two now)
