All the ranting in this movie make me sick, the F... word is the only thing you can hear but no substance to the story, the only part that deserve attention is at the end when Monty's dad gave him advice on how to carry on with his life after he is out jail.....I do not recomend this movie to anyone but I do respect the opinion of everybody else about this movie and I you like it or curious about it...go ahead...watch it

This is the type of book that is written from a parental "don't do this" perspective, but in a polite way. I was concerned about the book at first because I have a little "monkey see monkey do child"...as most typical toddlers. It really depends on what your child does with the information presented in the book. My 18 month old LOVES it! It is literally his favorite book and he will sit there while I read it to him before each nap & at bed time. It's funny and ends with the baby asking the "mommy please" for a good night kiss and then mommy kissing the baby good night. He realizes that he is not supposed to do certain things and likes acting it out while reading the book, and tells me/acts out what he is supposed to do. It's really cute. And a big bonus was that now he has generalized the book into his world and uses "please" when requesting items/things during the day. He will also do things for me when I say "please" even if he doesn't want to do so initially. Anyhow, this is a great book and I highly rec. it, just buy the hardcover, my paperback is wearing out.

THE MOVIE WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER READING THE BOOK(AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOM X BY ALEX HALEY). THE MOVIE HAD SOME GREAT ACTORS LIKE DENZEL WASHINGTON AND YET, IT WAS STILL VERY DULL. "DIRECTOR" SPIKE LEE RUINED A GREAT CHANCE OF TELLING THE AMAZING STORY OF MALCOM X.
