One of my most-used accessories since the PS3 launch has been this remote control. As a big movie watcher, this is an absolute necessity.

The layout is very nice, easy to use and feels very solid. If you've ever used the PS2 remote control, this is a big improvement.

Every button you'd need is available via the remote, and none of them feel awkwardly placed like the previous remote control. In addition to the standard controls you'd expect, the remote includes blu-ray specific buttons (Red/Green/Blue/Yellow), an Eject button and a PS button (which, if held, allows you to turn the PS3 off).

One of the big benefits with this remote is the bluetooth support - unlike other appliances which require a direct line of sight between the remote and the system, this control allows you to be in another room and still have full control over the PS3. Sounds useless, but it actually comes in handy if you have anything blocking your PS3's line of sight (or if you want to turn on/off the PS3 from another room).

The remote control has a very nice feel to it, and makes for a much more enjoyable movie-watching experience.

You'll probably find, like myself, that you use this PS3 remote for general navigation for the PSN Store, XMB and even web-browsing. For such a low-price, you just can't go wrong with it.

November 17, the air is cold people are excited,nervous, and trembling the clock is ticking 5....4....3....2....1. With the mad rush of loyal fans they push through the doors, the Playstation3 has launched. As i make my way to the check out counter i see it, a 60Gb waiting for me, with resisitance in my hand i walk out the door hoping not to get muged... Now i have the ulitmate system, it can play all my ps1,ps2,ps3, and not to mention (blueray) dvds which all display in full 1080p! The graphics are the realist or the real graphics, not to add in a 60gb HDD. The ps3 seems like it's limitless... four usb ports, bulit in wifi, up to seven wireless bluetooth controllers, HDMI (high def mulitimedia interface), and you can even use the ps3 as a home computer or super computer.
The PS3 is a powerhouse, it's good for anyone who wants an all in one media set up. High def games, movies, music, photos, internet browser. I cannot begin to explain how great the PS3 is, yes i own all systems and the 360 does not even come close to the PS3. If your looking for the next gen system stop! I like this product a lot, goes very well with the PS3's web browser. You can also use it as a finger pointing device (kind of like a mouse). Amazon list's this item as a game, so how fun is it? Well, its nifty?!? 5 star nifty? I don't know, it works as expected!
