I like the original version of the ps1 better than the smaller version ( I have both). It happens to be my favorite looking system also. Amazing variety of games: rpgs, action, sports, puzzlers, simulation, stealth action, etc. Maybe in 10 years my favorite system will be the xbox 360 but for now its the ps1. ![]() PlayStation 2 Console - Black $99.99 I first bought the thick PS2 for $200 and then the slim one for $120. The first one had issues reading early games, the slim one read everything, though worked a little warmer. The PS2 is a very solid system, it doesn't break in my experience. The only problem is that you have to buy memory cards and there's not a Playstation network like you see in the PS3 and PSP. Still, you can play online against other. I think this is the best console ever because of the games, resale value, and how the PS2 is still in production after about 9 years. ![]() PlayStation 3 120 GB $299.99 There is absolutely no reason for Sony not to include backward compatibility unless they have decided that they did not want to sell many of these machines. The Playstation is very over priced to begin with and then to not include backward compatibility is blaspnemy!!!
