![]() Sony 900 MHz BabyCall Nursery Monitor $39.95 Overall, this is a great monitor. I had the previous model for 4 years when it finally clunked out on us. This one is clearer and less static. Dollar for dollar, this has to be the best monitor out in the market. We bought 3 other ones from different companies before but did not feel they were worth the high price. I would confidently recommend this monitor for anyone who is looking for a good product. ![]() Sony CDX-GT630UI MP3/WMA/AAC Compliant CD Receiver with iPod Direct Control via USB $159.95 I Purchased This Head unit On 11/19/09 and i just recieved it today on 11/24/09. Besides the shipping taking forever i Bought the Head unit from amazon, and the Wiring Harness & Amp Integration Harness [...] which came to a total cost for everything at about $135. For the Price it is a great head unit! as for some of the reviews i have read before deciding to purchase this one, Ill tell you something about this product that i could not find in the reviews. It does have 3x Preouts in the back of the head unit. One for front, rear, and subwoofer speakers. It was also very easy to hook up it took all of 15 mins for me to take out my factory stereo and apply the wiring harness to finish the installation. The wiring harness from crutchfield made everything easier by 90% and with the Amp Integration Wiring Harness I didnt have to splice any wires or run any either. It made Bypassing my Factory amplifier very easy! The USB port functions very easily and it connects very fast. And if you pull it out at the middle of a song, Dont worry! It picks up right where you left off. To sum it all up I would recommend this head unit to anyone its a great buy for the price and quality! ![]() ACID Music Studio 7 $69.95 This product is excellent for what it's intended: semi-pro music loop creation! It is cost-effective and accurate, though compared to its revolutionary but retired grandpa Acid Pro 4.0 it lacks the 5.1 Surround sound option, which is a must for most modern video-sound creators. It can be used also as multi-track mixer for podcast, audiobooks, radio drama, etc. All in all, MS-7 is great for semi-pros. ![]() Sony Music 100 Years: Soundtrack for a Century $329.98 This is an impressive collection-- a century's worth of great music. 26 discs, covering many different genres. And while there is plenty of variety here, it is very much weighted to the modern era. Only eight of the 26 discs contain pre-1950 material, and of those eight, most contain only about half-a-disc's worth of pre-1950 material. It is certainly true that fewer recordings were made in the early days of the technology, but to call it a "Soundtrack for a Century" and ignore half the century seems very misguided. What would have made a much more interesting collection would have been a set that looked at the most popular recordings of each era and genre. Since there are six discs of "pop" music here, why not divide the discs into roughly equal spans of time (1900-1915, 1915-1930, 1930-1945, etc.) and include the top-selling records of that era? The same with classical, jazz, r&b, and so on. This would make for a much more balanced collection. I recommend this set only if you find it for an incredibly good price. There is a lot of fascinating music here, but the collection is not good enough to warrant the extremely high price tag. |
