Here comes the pain in my opinion is THE best wrestling video game i have ever played. i dont really care too much for the current wrestling games becuase this one had almost everything i wanted.

first let me start off that I bought the game when it first came out, but then i guess i played it so much that it just stopped working, so i bought it a second time. my second one stopped working too, so NOW i'm searching for a third one thats not so expensive. I would NOT buy a used one becuase i think for some reason after a while, the game just kind of gives out. its like it will refuse to work if its already been used up or something. Me and even my sister bought used ones and both of them didnt work. so i highly suggest you buy a NEW one. but like i said before, it guess its just one of those games that acts up. its weird. i dont know if its just the games i happen to pick out or something, but yea...

the graphics are pretty nice, they are not as great as the current video games but they are pretty impressive. To be honest i only play wrestling games to make up my own created suspertars and then play them in season mode. my sister and I would bend over laughing to death when we wrestle as our own suspertars. i LOVE the created suspertar mode becuase you create your own characters the way YOU want them to be and give them your own moves. there are tones of outfits, accessories and even designs to choose from.

The way the characters move, i would give a B+ becuas their bodies move and bend in the way that they should after a move or getting hit with a weapon. when you use a finisher move, jump off the tunbuckle or hit your wrestlers with weapons, the scene will sort of do a blurry slow-motion scene for you. its really awesome.

The season is pretty long, and pretty entertaining, i dont think the wrestlers speak in this one, but its STILL really good. you do get to add female wrestlers (even female created susperstars) into season mode, but they can't wrestle, they can only be like a manger, but there is one Match that you can let them have when they are in a rival with another group.

The backstage area are fantastic, you get to outside in the streets and climb the building thats across from the arena, there's a parking lot, there are MANY places you can go (its been years since i played the game i can't remember.) Smackdown here comes the pain is THE LAST werstling video game that allows divas and female created susperstars to go backstage. in THIS game the female wrestlers can do just about everything that the male wrestlers can, whether its slobber knocker, hell in the cell, elimination chamber match. i think the only thing they can't do is First Blood.

I LOVE the game soo much i wish i had many copies in my posession. i LOVE it!!!

The In-ring & Menu themes rock! i like listening to every single of them.

Kids are a great judgement of how fun a game is, and when I brought this and my wii over to my girlfriend's parents house, and played it with her younger siblings, we indeed had great fun.

I have a ps3 and a wii and for me personally the controls on the wii are much more fun to play than smackdown on ps3. I am very happy with the fun factor of this game, the improvements over last years edition (more match types available especially,) and that the controls have been slightly expanded from last year. There's finally enough here to stay interested for a while, whereas last years showed good potential but was just way too basic.

What I dislike about this over the ps3 version, that I find pretty annoying, is that there is no DLC packs for wii owners. Surely if there can be wiiware downloads there can be downloadable content. Why is it that the Wii has been left out of the opportunity to bring in old icons like Big Van Vader and Doink the Clown? As a Wii owner who bought this version of the game I feel insulted that THQ would punish my purchase by not including dlc for wii.

With the DLC I would give this game a 5 because it really is a heck of a lot of fun. My biggest beef with the recent smackdowns on other consoles is I'm not a fan of the controls. I have 2008 on ps3 and I dislike it because of the gameplay mechanics. But smackdown 2009 on Wii really is cool.

This may be for the older viewer, for my 11 year old fast forwards alot to get to the "action". There is maybe too much interviewing for a younger person to take in. He'll get more out of it in a few years. BUT it was nice to see the "classics" like the Hulk Hogan & the Rock.

SVR2007 smaller figures with a lot of move missed, is still decent but the following SVR2008 is The Worst Ever wrestling Game!!!

This is the time for SVR2009: the game itself is better than 2008(of course, the worst ever wrestling game), but is still a low quality game, less than 2006 & 2007. The Strongest goal in all SVR series is the CAW menu, now this mode is a pure Trash!!! In CAW menu the standard male figure stands in a gay pose!!! Yiack!!

THQ: Do you hate CAW mode??

For a created wrestler there��s no move, there��s no action, there��s no attributes, You need to earn point only for unlock old moves, already free in the previous games. I hate that
It suppose we are living ��¡�NEXT GENERATION CONSOLE era��¡�, Why THQ can not achieve the entire, rosters CAW and moves g from the previous wrestling games.

This SVR2009 is a waste of bits and bytes, for new generation consoles. Ok There are cool graphics in the openings but the action game turns pretty boring, good graphics won��t improved a boring game, That is not Cool

Road to Wrestlemania with only 5 characters playable and Storyline are too short, Booooo.

The Worst part of this game is the Analog control System introduced in 2008. I don��t know what��s going on with THQ programmer��s mind; the analog control system must be REMOVED! Get back to the old HCTP control system!!!

The only positive point is Create-a-Finisher, but this mode is not good enough for serious wrestling fans, you can not create submission finishers or modify preset finishers!
