Inside it covers much of the 5 element system, yin and yang, and the energy meridians which are related to acupuncture and acupressure. Build your knowledge on the bodies energy system while learning how to build more energy within the body and store it in the lower dan tein for a more healthier life. Beside covering Medical, Daoist, and Buddhist Qigong, in section 5 is the start of Wushu Qigong that describes how you can build up internal energy for martial arts and general health. I give this book a high rating because I have been practicing 5 Element Medical Qigong for some years and recommend this information to both the student, and the practitioner.

The book has interesting parts, but it doesn't speak to many people since it contains many things you just can't learn out of a book...not to mention, a portion of it is in Chinese (useless for non-Chinese speakers), and a portion is a bunch of references noone will be interested in. You can't learn any real Kung Fu from this book, nor can you learn many real combat applications that work in a serious situation. However, you can learn some conceptual kung fu and kung fu background. My rating is so-so...

Tai Chi Chuan: 24 & 48 Postures with Martial Applications

This book is about the 'new' 24 step Yang style tai chi, as
well as the 48 step set. The book has good photos along with
well written instructions about the different moves as well
as the actual applications. The author is truly a master, and
he has the ability to explain well tai chi movements in a book.
There are many other books out there about all this, but this
book and the author deserve a 5 star rating.
