Cake is a unique group to say the least, where the singer doesn't sing, he just talk to a rhythm and a beat. However, this arrangement and quirk works perfectly for them and their style. Can you imagine a song like this being sung by anybody else?

This song is about what girl the singer wants, and it's a rather long list, and like a child's Christmas list, it starts off general and reasonable, but by the end it gets very specific, "She's changing her name/From Kitty to Karen/She's trading her MG/For a white Chrysler LeBaron/I want a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket." And when the song gets to the Na Na Na Na Na part, then you're instantly hooked, dancing, and singing. This song is amazingly catchy, and brilliant. You won't hear lyrics like these from Beyonce, or anybody else, except for Weird Al.

Overall, a great song that shine with its subtle poise, humor, wit and brilliance. This is a excellent song not only for Cake, but for music in general. And to this day, nobody has made anything like it...
