This book certainly gives a few powerful insights on social manipulation, though there are many other more authoritative works in sociology and social psychology that probe such issues much more deeply. This is not a book for those who want to understand what happens around them -- though it may give you a few illuminations -- but a handbook for those who want to profit from them. Indeed, it suggests unethical practices. But even just from reading other reviews it is quite clear that most readers do indeed consider ethics as a burden and they would rather get rid of it.

After watching the Ballykissangel Series, I became a fan of Dervla Kirwan and purchased this movie solely for the purpose of seeing her in a role other than Assumpta Fitzgerald. She is an accomplished actress with a great range, and I would like to see much more of her; however, in the US, it is difficult to find her work.

Overall, this is a fun movie, probably a PG13, but not offensive.

This book was really good, i read it in one day, cant wait to read the others, also this author kinda reminds me of Zane but way way better. I would recommend this book to any one looking for a book that has a good story line, sex, but not roungy.

In this book, Baudrillard develops his own theory in various fields from sex, Freud, Kierkegaard, to politics in the theme of ?gseduction?h. Probably, this book is written to be seduction. At the same time, we can see Baudrillard?fs general attitude toward his works including this book: Prediction, warning, and seduction. He seems to learn a lot of things from Kierkegaard?fs works. In the first part, he maintains his own theory on sex against Freud, which is different from feminists?f theory based on sexual difference. It is interesting that he almost predicts today?fs situation of sex, which is why his works always seduce people. Moreover, I am impressed by his comments on Japanese striptease and by his idea that Japanese sexual culture is different from Western one. Through chapters, his point that seduction is fatal to itself appears continuously in his skillful rhetoric: The style of this book is similar to his ?gSimulacra and Simulation?h, which is a good guidebook to read this book.
