Chris Cornell is undisputably one of the best male voices in Rock of all time. Unfortunately even he can not save the sterile, crappy, plastic, genre that is Pop.
Cornell proves that he is versatile enough to sing within this genre and fit in, however it is not a place where he can truly shine; The music, rather, diminishes him. There is no substitute for the warmth of acoustic drums, electric bass and guitars, acoustic guitars, and other instruments played by HUMAN BEINGS. Loops, programs, and cliche pop mixing techniques are a lame match in the wind compared to the bonfire that Cornell is capable of, whether solo, with Sound Garden, or Audio-Slave. Chris, I appreciate your statement. You have now been there and done that. Please return home. :) We miss you.

I was very disappointed in this 2 disc set. Only can stand maybe 3 or 4 songs. Nothing HAPPY or GOOD about this disc. Save your mula!
