Unfortunately I could not find a way to make this review appear only on the edition in question. Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience you may experience from reading this review. In any edition this is a great album. I still wish I could see reviews of the different editions listed separately.

Besides a former life as a radio DJ and 20 years as a professional musician who has played with many greats and not so greats, besides my various musicologist, musician, producer and audiophile friends, and putting aside my ridiculous collection of about 5000 albums of all genres, I preface my review with the simple qualification that if you are a human being with working ears and a heart, this album is certainly one of the best you could ever own, and you have all you need to appreciate it.

The songwriting is without equal, the delivery is of the utmost integrity and feeling, the players are the best, exquisitely arranged and performed, and while not as lush as the few almost as amazing albums that followed it, as a collection of great songs well played it is one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of recorded music.

However, one big issue with this product as seen on this amazon page: no one is reviewing this specific and expensive reissue. I wish I could, but I haven't heard it. I can tell you this album is one that will not disappoint no matter the medium, but if we are to pay 2-4 times what the cd would normally cost in order to get special plastic that supposedly plays better in our cd players, we need to know what the difference is.

Please, anyone who has heard this edition, please let us know if you can hear any improvement or any difference in this new and pricey edition of one of the greatest albums of all time... of all time!
