Hot, Cool & Vicious
Hot, Cool & Vicious

$9.98
What more can be said about the first critically acclaimed female rappers? Hot, Cool & Vicious is Salt N Pepa's best album release, and one of the best pioneering rap works of all time. Included on this CD is a remix of the hit Push It, not originally featured on the tape version. Chick on the Side is a remix and not the original version released. Also, Tramp is not the original version as released on the tape edition, although it is not identified as such. Keep in mind that when these songs were engineered and produced, all recordings were analog. That said, the audio quality is very good if not excellent.
Very Necessary
Very Necessary

$13.98
I had to rebuy this hot album because it is a true hip-hop classic! I love every track on this cd, but the stand out tracks are Shoop, What A Man, None Of Your Business, and Summa Time Man. Wow, what more can I say salt-N-Pepa still have heavy play in my house. I wish these ladies come back for two or three more records for the public.
Brand New
Brand New

$17.98
This is the best Salt-n-Pepa album ever. It might not have the street/dance/R&B/funk/reggae sound featured from their past work. But listening to brand new shows a more mature esssence to this group. Frankly, I wasn't sure they could update their style of music. But RU Ready PROVES otherwise. The video is even hotter, and features a cleaner and classier group. Good Life is an honest song, and has a 60's pop sound to it. Say Ooh, wasn't credited to a sample, but it sound very familiar to another rap song by another gruop. Which released their album months afterwards. Imagine, is a deffinate soul song, featuring Sheryl Crow. Knock Knock, is reminicent of Very Necessary. It's about having no time for bad men in their life. Gitty up, is a funky song about, "you know what". Clock is tickin', talks about spousal abuse. It's a funny song too. Hold On, is a good ending to Brand New. The epilogue finishes with RU Ready (Remix). That is the best song on this album, in my opinion.

Salt-n-Pepa does a lot of writing and producing on this album. You won't find any tracks from Timbaland/Missy Elliot, DR. Dre., P. Diddy, and other big producers. But they gave some of their best efforts to make this album.
Push It
Push It

$0.99
One of the biggest club songs of all time. Clearly the lyrics for 'push it' are not meant to be pondered. Put the song on, get on the dancefloor, shake your booty, and "push it" real good!
I have to worry for anyone that is confused about what 'push it' in this song actually means though....hmmm..
