A must have if you have the 8' Intex pool. I used a tarp at first to cover it, but this looks much better and stays on a lot better. Only complain is that the little tree frogs in our area in the NW can crawl trough the vents and then they don't survive. Kind of sad. So we had to tape over the holes.

We have a salt water chlorine generator and this book didn't really help with those kind of questions. Then this week I had a question on pool closing and realized that the book was written in Florida and we live in Kansas City, MO and use completely different procedures. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this book.

This is a good inflatable pool for the money, but you have to make sure it is on ABSOLUTELY level ground. We worked on leveling an area, put it up and apparently there was a very small gradient on one side, so the inflatable ring at the top has become lop-sized and now the cover won't stay on. The weight of that much water really presses out on the sides, and I think next time we'll go with a reinforced pool or something with hard sides. It did the job and kept my kids cool and happy this past summer, but we most likely will not use it again.

Kids love this pool. Had to purchase a larger filter as the one this came with wasn't sufficient to keep things clean. Other than that, a great product!
