I very much enjoy the Saga genre. I have read most of the titles by James Michener, as well as, Mr.Rutherfurd's Sarum, and Russka, I enjoy the history of the families and the landscape descriptions, even though I have to turn to the geneology chart and maps frequently. The Princes of Ireland and The Rebels of Ireland are shipping at present.

Although daunting to start with, this is a comprehensive and easy to read reference for vascular surgery. A must have for all current and aspiring vascular trainees, or even part-timers who have a keen interest in this expanding field.

For an aspiring trainee such as myself, it has been difficult to find such an up to date reference that covers the background to difficult subjects like basic sciences and fundamentals to endovascular surgery, as well as in depth discussions on other vascular staples like carotids, chronic limb ischaemia etc.

Although initially worried about the size and cost, am DEFINITELY glad that I took the plunge and bought this for myself.

This is an astounding masterpiece. It's scope and research is breathtaking. The families are believable, likable, hateable and thourally entertaining. I highly recommend this work.
