I have much respect for the Graham family, however, I read this book AFTER reading "Praying Prodigals Home" by Quin Sherrer and Ruthanne Garlock. I would recommend PPH over this book hands down. While Ms. Graham tells some nice stories and has written some lovely poems, Sherrer and Garlock not only tell you HOW to pray for your prodigal, but have recorded many VERY ENCOURAGING testimonies of believers who have "prayed home" their prodigals. Backed with much scripture, PPH is filled with hope, wisdom and encouragement. I'm still using the various prayer strategies while praying for my prodigal. Summary: Buy PPH!

I really enjoyed reading about the life of Ruth Graham. She was so well-grounded in her faith and SO supportive of her husband, Billy Graham. I would highly recommend it!!

Mrs. Graham did a wonderful job writing her testimony that, if read, will help so many hurting people, young and old. Her vulnerablity was evident in her life story. I could relate to Ruth regarding her daughter's unplanned pregnancy; how she and God handled it was heartwarming. Being the daughter of a prominent evangelist made it more humbling than most to admit the tragic divorce in her life. Mrs. Graham gave proof that "God loves us and turns bad things around to glorify him.
