Important material here for the serious roulette player...Dealer control of where the ball lands is an idea that is kept secret by Vegas. Giving it publicity would badly hurt the game and the amount gambled. The best system I know is to figure out what numbers the dealer is trying to hit and then bet them after he has released the ball. Set the dealer up by betting small amounts away from where he is intent upon hitting. And if he shows he is still trying for HIS OWN numbers, swoop in with all your chips after he has released the ball and bet the new numbers. The looks you will get from the dealer and the pit boss, you will remember for years. Of course, this is a guerilla strategy. Do it, make your money and leave. I came by this approach after long conversations with a 20 year veteran croupier who could hit sections just as the author suggests he could. ANother tip is to tip the dealers and try to get them on your side. I wrote a book about this a few years ago. I still sell it. William TigerSoftCom Watch the speed of the wheel. If the dealer speeds up the wheel, he is not trying to hit a same numbers he has been hitting. If he lets the speed of the wheel continue as is, you have a good clue he is trying to repeat his numbers or control the new mumbers by making small adjustments.

Unless you know nothing about gambling and roulette, 90% of this book is useless drivel and the only thing in it that is original and may be of value-- the author's main betting system-- could have been summarized in just a few pages. But then there wouldn't be much of a book to sell, would there?

That being said, the betting system is not too bad, but there are magical rules involved such as hopping around to different wheels after a brief win or loss, as if that were going to make a difference-- especially when the bet selection is based on only five previous spins.

According to the author's magical rules you are finished at the wheel you are playing after your first win, and cannot play it again till... when? An hour later? Next week? Ofcourse that will make no difference, and that part is not clear, but you are definitely supposed to leave the table after a win and then play and also leave other wheels.

Hmmmm... What if I had walked up to the same wheel I was to abandon after playing the series, but a little later-- then wouldn't I in fact be playing the very spins I was not supposed to play had I started earlier at the wheel? Ofcourse I would, and you have to know that if you're making a bet decision based on only five previous outcomes, it cannot make a difference when the table is approached or left, and the prescribed jumping around to different wheels is ridiculous.

Furthermore, the author's discussion of the law of averages and how it "helps guide me to the best wagering choice at the tables" is so flawed, because although it's true that "given time, events will seek their proper place within their assigned probablilities," he fails to recognize that the more trials, the closer the expected probabilities will become percentage-wise, but the greater the difference becomes between the comparative groups; suffice it to say that there is nothing in the law of large numbers that can help you during your relatively brief stay at the roulette tables, especially by betting on relatively tiny fragments of spin sequences as the author recommends.

Easy to read. Worth the price of the book. I enjoyed reading about some of dealers ability to spin the wheel and hit the same number in a row. Interesting reading.
