I started not to order based on previous reviews; however, I am glad I did. Actually, I ordered two - one for the friend who treated me to my knives. We were both impressed with the numbered block and ease of replacing knives in their appropriate slots. It is larger than my regular block; but, hey, it holds all 25 Ronco Six Star + knives. It has to be large. I have grown impressed with it sitting on my counter.

well, i have seen the infomercials for these knives all my life, and as i have grown i have become something of a chef, i'm well versed in knives. i swear by dexter & russel fillet knives and saw knives (the tiger tooth one) for fish and frozen foods etc, and have been using henkels and ginsus (and my parents had some cutco knives for a comparison on the high pressure direct sale knives). i lost all of my good japanese and german knives in a fire, and wasnt (and am still not) quite ready to replace my collection, so one night, while i was in a large department store (walmart) i saw a set for, about 15 bucks less than the infomercial (not to mention the shipping, gak!) and i bought them on a whim, just to have a laugh at actually owning these. ive gotta say, the knives i have used, have all worked quite well, ive used the shears to cut solid and fiberous wires while working on lights and stereos. the blades are all frighteningly sharp, and im happy with the cuts im able to make. the things i dislike, as i have noticed a trend here, the handles feel VERY cheap, dispite the lifetime guarantee, though i have no complaint other than feel as they havent cracked or shrunk or melted yet, but i wouldnt put it past them as a possibility. all but one knife are very thin, and im not used to such light knives, but the blade is full tang, so it still feels...useable in my hand. matter of fact, if the handles ever do come off, i'll just replace them with a finished hardwood myself, maybe ebony. the cleaver is the exception, i was wowed by its thickness and weight out of the box, and i guess i am lucky that all my knives were so sharp but that cleaver...it was worth the price i paid alone, seriously. if that knife ever gets lost, ill replace the whole set to get it back. they really are stupid cheap where i got em, buck a knife, and considering what ive paid for a single knife that is no sharper than these were, i could replace the set five times over just because a knife gets dull or breaks, and id still be ahead of the game. based on the set i personally got and no other review ive read, i would recommend these to anyone cooking on a budget, or anyone who needs a sharp knife at a good price.

The Ronco ST5000LGEN Platinum Edition Rotisserie is great. The food cooked in it has a wonderful flavor, is tender and still has its natural juices. We purchased it because I had open heart surgery and the food cooked in it does not have all the grease and is not cooked in grease or oil. I would highly recommend it.

I am very pleased with this product. I'm truly enjoying the benefits of my Rotisserie. The only problem I had with this item was being mislead by the size or weight of two chickens that could fit on the Rotesserie. But, we worked it out by learning how to make it fit. Although, it's to small for two 4lb. chicks, we make it fit by bending the legs and making sure it doesn't touch the back of the oven. The video was especially helpful and full of ideas for cooking. My son uses it for everything; turkey legs, roast, and chicken breast. It's an addition to my weight-loss program. I am very pleased with this product, it has added so much pleasure to food quality and health benefits. As usual, Amazon came through with a great product.
