![]() Love Actually (Full Screen Edition) $12.98 Okay, I love most british films, most romantic comedies, and find often something redeeming in the ones I don't. This movie is a huge disappointment. I was drawn in by the great actors, but I wonder what drew them in. This movie has weak story lines, mostly unlikeable characters and uses every opportunity to include foul language, sex and nudity it can. The effectual message? Love Actually is Cheap. ![]() Rock of Love: Season 1 (3pc) $34.98 Ok, I must admit I had never really paid any attention to the band Poison until i watched this show. Brett Michaels is Hot so it's easy to understand why these women signed on to do this show. But like any good rocker, Brett seems to enjoy keeping around the girls who's IQ's are the lowest and who's skirts are the highest. When you get a houseful of them all together vying for one guy you get catfights and major drama. If you like clean cut shows, this isn't for you. If you like disasters in the making, you'll love it. ![]() I Love New York: Season Two (3pc) $34.98 We met Tiffany (New York) Pollard as she vied for the love of Flavor Flav on his reality dating show. We also got to see her crazy mother, sister patterson. Well in I love new york 2 Tiffany and sister patterson are back with a whole new housefull of guys, one of which ends up going home with sister patterson in the end. Why these somewhat goodlooking guys would put up with drama queen pollard no one will ever get me to understand, all I can think is it must be the 15 minutes of fame. Because Tiffany to me seems to have no redeeming qualities and oftens treats the guys like something she scraped off the bottom of her over priced shoes. But like with a lot of VH1 reality shows, it's such a train wreck that you have to tune in each week to see what sheer stupidity these poor jerks are going to be subjected to. ![]() Charm School $14.94 Although I would consider this a chick flick, the mexican type of humor allows this to be entertaing even for guys. The playful and sometimes even cheesy sexuality in the movie is not at all distasteful or unnecessary, but rather adds to the comedic sense of the film and gives it a sensual touch. Martha Higareda is a great and beautiful actress, and truly gives her character life as she portrays a young and rebelious senator's daughter, who is sent to an academy for ladies where she is to learn how to act like a proper woman in order to not ruin her father's campaign. The movie has great music by Ximena Sari«Šana, who also stars in this movie along with Rafael Sanchez Navarro, Blanca Guerra, Camila Sodi, and directed by Fernando Sari«Šana. If you are a fan of mexican comedies, then this is definately one to watch. |
