I had never heard of them until then. I purchased this cd after I heard them and now it is about the only thing that I play. The lyrics, the Christian music, everything on it is just amazing. Truely God given. ![]() The Six Sacred Stones $7.99 If you haven't read Seven Deadly Wonders, I highly suggest reading it first as it is the predecessor to this story. If you've already read it, or if you want to know more about the story of Jack West and his gang before purchasing these books, then please read on. I dove right into this book immediately after finishing Seven Deadly Wonders. Reilly really brings everything back into the fold so it's easy to pick back up from the events of Seven Deadly Wonders. This time we find Jack West and crew in search of six pillars located at different ends of the earth in order to stop Earth's destruction yet again, but this time, from a force unseen. New friendly faces are added to the story and new antagonists are introduced, including one that will explain a lot about Jack's past. As always, there is sheer action and adventure around every corner and a lot of "history" that will have you fact checking over and over again. This story flows smoothly and engulfs the reader just like its predecessor. The illustrations from Seven Deadly Wonders are also present in this book. Reilly really takes the guess work out of the settings with layouts and diagrams to assist the reader. Before you know it, you've finished the book, furious with the cliffhanger (yes folks you'll have to read Five Greatest Warriors to conclude this tale). I highly recommend this book as well as its predecessor Seven Deadly Wonders. Be sure to read my review for Five Greatest Warriors upon its U.S. release in January 2010. |
