 I Told You So (Featuring Randy Travis) $1.29 Hi, I saw the duet done on American Idol. I downloaded it as soon as I could. I thought it was very good. I had always loved this song from when Randy recorded it but they blended their voices well, of course being a fan of Randy's I wish he would have sang a little bit more of it. He wrote this song back in the 80's. He has written or co-written some really great songs. Check out these songs that he wrote or co-wrote: Heros and Friends, Better Class Of Losers, for uptempo songs, for ballads, Forever Together, I'd Surrender All, The Box, The Reasons I Cheat, Good Intentions, I'm Your Man, I Wish It Would Rain and I think one of the most beautiful love songs ever written (right up there with He Stopped Loving Her Today)is called I Can See It In Your Eyes. I had to replace mine because it is a staple in my collection and had worn out on a song or two. I then bought one for my older brother who in the last few years went from Rock to Country and I thought he should have this as he may not hear enough of him on the stations now. He loves it too! My daughter 10 loves it and when we clean house we put music on she will request Randy. It is kind of funny to hear her sing "you've been too gone for too long" as she hasn't even had her first boyfriend. This CD has so many great songs and his voice is just pure honey to me! A must have. |
