I would give this collection 4 stars. Though most of the movies in the set are around 2-3 stars except the first one, the third one and Curse of the Puppet Master which were somewhat above average. They may not be great movies but you will never forget the killer puppets once you see them and they are something different for the Horror Genre. This would make a good edition to any horror fans collection. ![]() Puppet Master 1 $19.99 I'm a big Puppet Master fan and I used to love this movie, but I watched it a few days ago and I thought that it was average at best. It's not bad at all, but it's nowhere near as good as I remembered. It's pretty damn boring! The puppets are awesome (O RLY?) and the special effects are pretty damn good, but the characters are very forgettable! I didn't really care about any of them. Basically, the puppets are the only interesting things in the movie. The parts without the puppets are not interesting at all. I'm sorry, guys, I used to love most of the Puppet Master movies, but now the only PM movie that I love is the third one. It's very entertaining, the plot is very good, the puppets are even more awesome than in the first 2 and the characters are great. Watch the third one instead. ![]() The Puppet Master $6.99 Jan Coffey never ceases to amaze me. The plot builds so well, you are kept on the edge of your seat. This one did that for me. In the beginning you wonder how all of the characters fit together. All from different backgrounds and with different stories. It becomes a puzzle and the reader has to put it together. I kept trying to figure out who was the puppet master? How did the characters fit together? What were they going to have to do? I have followed these authors for years and cannot get enough of thier writing. Cannot wait for the next one. |
