After the cancellation of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. and appearences in some successful films (most notably the McQueen epic BULLET), Gerry & Sylvia Anderson inticed Robert Vaughn to return to the small screen in a 30 minute action-adventure series. As Harry Rule he runs a small security service that takes on special cases. Carried in syndication in the U.S. in the early 1970's, it was a pretty decent show that was to capture in 30 minutes the excitement of shows twice as long. A difficult relationship between Vaughn and the Andersons brought this show to a close after only 2 seasons. Sadly both Nyree Dawn Porter and Tony Anholt have passed away in the intervening years. Vaughn can currently be seen in the British series HUSTLE.

The plot is very thin, so the producers has to resort to a lot of female flesh to keep the male audience awake. This is the type of story that if you were to condense it by just the story line that was important to developing the plot, you could view it all in 30 mins. Sorry, because some good performances are wasted here.

Usually these things are flimsy window-cling type plastic that always ends up with bubbles under it and starts peeling away from the LCD at the corners after about a day.

Not these, these are actually stiff-ish plastic and the screen protector itself arrives with protectors on it that you peel back during installation. Once you install this thing you can barely tell it's there, and it looks to me like it will actually stay on for a while instead of peeling off the first time you stick your camera back in it's case.

I can't complain about this item, it's a huge step up from the usually 100% cheap-o LCD stick on screen protectors.

It comes with the protector, a cleaning cloth (nice touch) and a squeegy card. Installation is simple and fast, because the protector is stiff instead of floppy bubbles are essentially no problem at all, it just works. Great product.

This is my second pair of WorkTunes. My first lasted for a year until the apparently common problem of the wire breaking from the inevitable flexing of the unit putting it on and off my head.
This is my first digital unit, and the ability to quickly find a preselected station is appreciated. AM and FM reception is good, but I do live close to the transmitters.
The noise protection is really appreciated when mowing the lawn, and yet I can still listen to the radio.
The earset is comfortable enough that I'll often wear these rather than a different type of radio with ear buds when I'm doing work outside that is not noisy. That's because this set doesn't easily come off when moving around.
