The characters are interesting, Maggie is a delight, and if the Jocks and Jessicas are a bit one-dimensional, with the exception of Brian, well - it's high school and most teenagers do seem to be mono-focused! I really enjoyed the way the book ended in regards to Lisa. That was unexpected and rather out of keeping with the way things generally happen. Not only did I have the nice sensation of completing a well-written book that was thoroughly enjoyable, but also that lovely glow of being happily surprised and completely in agreement with the outcome.
