![]() Melissa & Doug Deluxe 24-Piece Princess Elise Magnetic Dress-Up $12.99 I ordered this as a gift for my 2 year old. She and her 5 year old sister love it. It has given them hours of fun so far and has been durable enough for a 2 year old. I recommend this to anyone. ![]() Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Folding Princess Castle $99.99 If your child loves pretend play and all things princess this is the toy for you! My daughter uses it for Disney princess figurines and the Playmobil princess sets. Because it opens up, it's easy for her to use all of her figurines. The drawbridge and dungeon are a lot of fun and there are many places to set up scenes for play. After looking at all of them - I'm glad we went with this one. ![]() Fairytale Princess dress-up chest $49.99 My four year old niece is at that age where she thinks she is a princess (which every little girl is and rightfully so) I have been purchasing little individual princess outfits for her one at a time for every occasion, each is at least $27 and the material is less than respectable, flimsy and flammable not to mention an eye sore (to me) . I am really very impressed by the quality of the dresses, and I don't think she could tell the difference between this and the flammable stuff they over-price.. nonetheless, the look on her face and her reaction when I gave her this means the world to me, I'd have paid gladly three times that just to see her this happy.. she jumped up and down, and thanked me and was thoroughly enjoying each piece which she can mix and match even wear over her jammies. It is really excellent quality and she is using the box for a number of things, she really loves collecting trinkets and what nots.. makes me wish I was a kid again.. well crafted and you won't be disappointed..I was concerned that the dresses seem a little small and snug but my sister told me that they stretch and she looks adorable.. I don't know that she'll be able to use this into the next two coming years, but we'll see, perhaps this brand will make it for a little bit older kids.. I think princesses are entitled to be so until 9-10 yrs of age before it gets stale? but I maybe a little old fashioned? I am not sure what the 'educational value' for this game should be, there is nothing cerebral about it, but there is alot of value in imaginative intellectual play, I believe it leads to resourcefulness and vision. Enjoy... ![]() Melissa & Doug Princess Mirror - DYO $6.99 This mirror is really cute and I love the concept. We were disappointed because the glitter sticks were empty and the glue would not hold. I used super glue to make everything stick, but that meant I had to do it instead of my little girl, who directed where to put what. She does like it though and plays with it when she does her "make-up." |
