I'm nearing the end of my quest to read bios of all the presidents, in order. This book had good reader reviews, which is why I chose this one for #41. The author admits in the introduction that it is biased; after all, she is writing about her father! However, having read it, I think it was quite fair, overall. It was easy to read; fairly thorough; and not as biased as it might have been, I believe. All-in-all, not a disappointment at all. I would recommend it to anyone.

David Frost is an excellent host and the thing I prefer about this bioDVD compared to the PBS 3 hour retrospective on him is most all of the words are spoken BY President Bush not about him. President Bush basically leads us through his life..from sitting in his library to chatting at the Berlin Wall Frost leads him through an well spent life to be sure. I must say when President Bush recalled his dad for the first time crying when he told him he wanted to enlist after Pearl Harbor ...he wells up himself and you can tell he is recalling that emotion...and Frost is the master of how to push buttons and when to shut up and let the President be the star.

I can't say enough about this fabulous presentation...its just so much better than I had even hoped for....if you admire President Bush you will be completely happy with this. If you are NOT a fan or for some reason lump him together with his son (who is NO chip off the old block)...you will come away from this admiring this amazing man.

What a GREAT day for the American people! A Real live presidential doll with a turkey yet! I just cant figure out who the bigger turkey is. This needs to go in a time capsule for sure, so people generations from now can marvel at the sophistication as well as patriotism that existed during the Iraq conflict. And for sure thank you to the money grubbing company that produced this turkey of a gift! Maybe they could do John Kennedy in his open Lincoln just before he was shot! Or how about Honest Abe eating popcorn just before old John W. Booth snuck in and plugged him. The ideas are endless as well as tasteless, kind of like that plastic turkey Jorge is holding!!!

Unfortunately, one president is missing because there are 43 presidents on the poster (sorry, I don't know who is missing). Mr Obama is the 44th US president. Good effort, though.
