I really got sweat after I used it. recommend to all pregnant women ![]() What to Expect When You're Expecting: Fourth Edition $24.95 My youngest daughter is expecting her first baby in May 2010. She had a lot of questions and some worries too. This book has eased her mind and has helped her to understand all the changes happening to her during the time when she needs the information the most. Excellent resource for anyone having a baby - either their first or their fourth. I would recommend it to everyone having a baby. ![]() Ingrid & Isabel Women's Maternity Everyday BellaBand, Black, Size One $26.00 I love my BellaBand. Well into my second semester, I am still able to wear my old pants. ![]() The Girlfriends' Guide to Pregnancy $15.00 I found almost no redeeming qualities in this book. I really wanted to like it too, a fun guide with practical information. It's a was a waste of time and money. This book is about as funny as the Mayo's Guide to Pregnancy. It was not helpful. It made me worry that I was having a miscarriage because it parrots old wives' tales. It tells you to do (and not do) so many things, but with no reason why. It tells you to do many things that are counter-indicated in pregnancy according to everything else I've read. Then she discourages you from exercising. Before someone jumps on me, she does recommend walking. She recommends giving into your unhealthy urges, binging on cookies, etc. I recognize that you need to do that sometimes, but most of my pregnant girlfriends didn't need encouragement. Every other book I've read so far has been more helpful and calming than this. |
