This selection has the song for graduation AND the extended length, so it gives plenty of time for processionals. If this is what you need, this is the CD to get.  Elgar: Pomp & Circumstance Marches; Enigma Variations; Cockaigne Overture $3.98 I bought this CD because I had very little Elgar in my collection, and I was particularly lacking the Enigma Variations. The price was so low I really didn't expect much. Imagine my surprise when I first listened to the disc! Sir Adrian Boult and John Barbirolli bring to the fore things that I never experienced before when listening to Elgar. What a revelation! The Variations and the Pomp & Circumstances Marches have taken on a new life and meaning for me. Buy this CD while you can! It is magnificent at any price, let alone this steal. |
