Polyphonic Spree
 The Beginning Stages Of... $13.98 If there is one album that makes me so happy to listen to it has to be this album by the polyphonic spree. My favorite song would have to be light and day, it makes me want to just get up and start new and makes me feel that I can do anything. I remember I first saw this album advertise on tv and I fell in love with it. When I did some searching for the album it took me to the soundtrack for Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind movie and I heared that was a great movie but anyway it is on that soundtrack as well. I go to youtube all the time to watch there videos and leave comments on how much I love this song and I read the other comments on how they are jesus freaks and how they look stupid in the video but they are just being rude. The song and the group are amazing and so is this cd.  Thumbsucker $13.98 I was listening to this CD for the first time and wasn't feeling very impressed. Perhaps if I saw the film I would appreciate some of the tracks more. I wasn't paying very much attention to the music when I found myself feeling very relaxed and peaceful. The track that was playing was Acceptance and at over 30 minutes long it is worth getting the CD just for this one track. Some day soon I'm going to put this track on repeat and listen to it for most of the day. In fact, I think I'll do that tonight with the volume turned way down. It should make for some very pleasant dreams.  Together We're Heavy $13.98 I don't need to go on a multi-page rant about the Polyphonic Spree and their greatness. This album, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of the greatest cd's in the history of music. It is a masterpiece. The 24 members of this band all add their own greatness to make this cd simply amazing. Highlights to me are Suitcase Calling, Diamonds/Devotion to Majesty, Hold Me Now and We Sound Amazed. This is one of those cd's that once you own it, you will forever love it. The Polyphonic Spree is music for your soul. |
