There used to be a game called Lemmings which was similar to this game. This is a great puzzle game challenging your wit to rescue the creatures. I still wish I could play Lemmings again, but this is a great substitute.

We started playing this game over the web on the family's Wild Tangent account. The price of the CD from Amazon looked like a great deal. The catch is that the disc won't install on a 64 bit Vista system even though the games worked on that same system with Wild Tangent. The two games on the disc are great fun for the family and we were able to install them on our old XP 32 bit system. Bottom line, read the box carefully before you buy.

I bought Polar Games 1 & 2 for my 8 year old granddaughters, because of the good reviews and the girls were intrigued by the characters. The characters are well-drawn and have great personality. The graphics are very good. But there are a limited number of games and the games themselves are repetitive. My granddaughters enjoy adventure and variety, rather than honing their skills repeating and improving the same games. After the initial couple of uses, both of these discs sit on the shelf generating absolutely zero interest. I recommend you know your players' preference in game playing before you purchase.

This set includes Polar Golfer, Polar Bowler, Polar Tubing, and Penguins! My son did not like Polar Golfer. One full game (18 Holes) takes about 30 Minutes, and is VERY boring. My son was watching me play and got bored after the first 5 holes.The other Three Games are pretty nice, and are fun. And, you also have to install each game indivually, which takes up some time.
