Please Don't Leave Me (Explicit)
Please Don't Leave Me (Explicit)

"Please don't leave me" is the Pink single that has gotten plenty of airplay. Pink has decided to change her sound from being the post-punk anti-Britney to the whiny, emo,"alternative" rock type. Pink used to present herself as a diamond in the rough. Now,she goes for a smooth, bland, boring sound. Then again, her musical mentor is Linda Perry of the annoying song "What's going on?" It's the typical whiny codependent song. Her "please, pleeeease don't leave me" pushes the listener to the point of changing the radio station. Please, please,PELASE turn this song off! Or change the station!

I got this CD when Pink first stepped on the scene back in 99. I remember thinking that she had a surprisingly R&B style. All the songs on this CD aren't good, but for nostalgic reasons I still like them. She's since evolved and her music isn't so easily categorized, but I still like what she gives us.

Ok. I saw a biography about P!nk on VH1 the other day. I so enjoyed it that I decided to buy three of her albums. I just listened to "Can't Take Me Home" and am now listening to "Missundaztood." And, will next listen to "Funhouse." All I can ask myself is "why didn't you buy her when she came out in 2000?!?" Her lyrics resonate with me. Thus far, her CDs have been a real treat!
