![]() Persepolis Boxed Set $25.90 I like both volumes, but I see them as quite different. The first, her childhood in Iran, is extremely useful as a history book, telling of what went on in Iran during the author's childhood. The second volume is less historical and more autobiographical, and of real interest as a memoir - the trials and tribulations of an adolescent / young adult whose life is very much complicated by Iran and by exile. This means talk about sex, drugs, friendships and human dealings good and bad, as well as relating to her own parents. It is of less interest on the subject of Iran, just as the first book of the two is of less interest, at least to me, as a memoir. ![]() Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood $12.95 perfect condition couldnt be happier. actually turned out to be a good book, though i had it done in a day :( ![]() Persepolis (+ BD Live) [Blu-ray] $38.96 I loved this movie. I identified with Marjane's story because I know what it feels to be displaced out of your home country and to live as a stranger from that on. Simply honest and complete. It has become one of my favorite movies of all time! ![]() Persepolis $29.95 I loved this movie.
