Grady Harp's thoughtful review of Novo pretty much says everything there is to be said, and says it with his usual eloquence ......except..... that if you enjoyed "Sex and Lucia" and are looking to see more of Paz Vega, in all senses of that term, you'll be dumbfounded at her minimal, wooden appearance in Novo. Given that she was Graham/Pablo's wife, and [oops, almost included a spoiler], there was some real potential for interesting, meaningful character development......and more exposure. Perhaps all that wound up on the cutting room floor?

I watched this movie because I saw Paz Vega in 10 Items or Less, and she was
outstanding, she was also outstanding in Spanglish.....I did not like "Carmen",
Paz Vega plays a murderer,thief and incredibly evil seductress.

I heard never heard of Paz Vega before I saw these movies, and she is a
very skilled actress, but Carmen is such a villian it was a hard movie
to watch.

When the movie starts with someone dropping the F bomb in every sentence when it's not even in a valid context, it tells me that we have an ignorant A) character, B) actor, and C) DIRECTOR. They're nothing but sell-outs and propagating vulgarity in an unnecessary context. I'll make a point not to watch this directors movies.

Even sadder is Morgan Freeman...you'd think he'd have more class or principles to put his foot down and not be a part of certain projects. Guess it's all about making a buck.
