I had this dvd purchased by a friend a few yrs ago at U.S. (I am residing in S'pore) and it cost me a BOMB! She got it at Barnes and Noble. Later, I chanced upon it at amazon.com and it cost so much cheaper! Nevertheless, I purchased it from Amazon recently as a gift for my friend who loves Oprah, just like me! I cried buckets when I watched one of the dvds featuring Oprah's special guests & their lives. A MUST HAVE dvd for you and your family!

filed with relationship tips from Dr. Phil, financial advice from Suze Orman, fashion tips, recipes, book recommendations and advice on how to live your best life. For those wishing to subscribe, it's better to take the online deal -- the only caveat is that the subscription probably won't start until two to three months after you purchase it. (I bought my subscription in February -- didn't get my first magazine until April with the May issue).

It's worth it though. I was a longtime subscriber to O magazine and wanted to renew. However I was really disappointed to find out how expensive it was to renew. Instead of getting a deal, they tried to lock me in at a higher rate. I didn't renew. Instead, like a previous reviewer stated, I got the threatening letters from the subscription department threatening me to pay up or else.

When I first subscribed I got a deal, why should I be locked in at a higher rate just to read O Magazine? Instead, I let my subscription lapse and found the deal on Amazon.com irresistible to pass up, and purchased two years for $24. Well worth the price. Funny enough, they subscription department is already sending me notices to renew my subscription again when it doesn't run out until 2011. Ha. You would think that the world's most popular talk show host would reign in her magazine subscription department when it comes to good customer service.

This book could have been really good... If Wally had edited out some of the ridicules plot twists. It is overly long, and has too much going on to be an enjoyable read. I suppose some people may feel like anything that can go wrong will go wrong in their lives, but come on!

The narrator repeats himself so many times, I thought I was the one with the mental illness.

I would recommend this book to someone who wants to read something interesting, and likes long-winded, far-fetched tales about a dysfunctional family.
