![]() Olympic Figure Skating - Vol. 1 $19.98 Both volumes 1 and 2 are a major ripoff. There is less than one hour of film on each DVD, which could hold 6 hours or more. The clips are short and only show part of the performances. Most of the DFD is blather from the commentators. I was so disappointed I almost cried. Where is Sasha Cohen, the greatest skater who ever lived? ![]() Promise Kept:The Oksana Baiul Story [VHS] $14.98 I missed the beginning, but I saw most of the movie. And from what I saw, it was great. It seemed more like a regular movie than an actual documentary. The acting and stuff was really good, I think so anyway. I definetely think you should see it! ![]() Oksana: My Own Story $16.99 Oksana tells her story with moving earnestness, from her tragic personal losses to her triumph in Lillehammer. Everyone who watched her win the gold medal couldnt' help but be touched by her performance, which was yet another triumph over adversity (she had been injured in a practice in a collision with another skater). Her from-the-heart performance gave her the much-deserved Olympic medal. Here's a glimpse into the girl behind the glitter. Figure skating fans won't want to miss this one, and it's a tale of personal triumph and determination that other young athletes would do well to emulate ![]() Gastineau Girls - The Complete First Season $14.95 If you like reality shows you will like this DVD. I think it was a good buy and worth the time of watching. Entertaining. |
