I am only 14 right now but thats a perfect age to start getting hooked on anime!!I hate waiting every week for a new neon genesis episode to come on,so i thought..duh!why not buy them?but then i thought,now i have nothing to look foward to every week:(....but this dvd(and all the rest of them)are to good to wait for,so if you are thinking,do i wait and be suprised or screw it and be happy but nothing to look foward to?well just screw it becuase it is well worth it,plus you have no stupid commercials,just action after action!If you are asking,well i dont know i am the kind of person who likes to be all suprised and have something to look forward to,then you are just like me,but i got it anyway and have no regret,but i would advise you to watch a little bit of it like maybe to episode 12 or 14 and then buy some episodes like this one becuase,it does kind of ruin the feeling of excitement when you are just waiting day after day and then when it's on....WOOOOT(cant do that unless you watch it again,but you still know whats gonna happen,no fun in that),you can invite all your friends over and have a party watching all sorts of the new shows(i am a huge anime fan so i love fullmetal alchemist and samuria champloo and ghost in the shell...hehe basically i love them all) that show on saterdays(and thursdays if you mean just this show)on adult swim....but dont forget if you have the dvd's you can stay up all night watching MARATHONS of neon genesis.just to tell ya,this dvd focuses more on rei and a little at the end on asuka and kaji when they meet so if you are a rei fan then two thumbs up on this dvd:)

During episode one, Akane makes some cherry-blossom Mochi that will reveal the man she is to destined to be with. If there aren't an X will appear on his face, but if he is... there will be sakura petals. AFter accidentally eating some Ryouga gets petals on HIS face and Ranma gets jealous. Though the petals strangely resemble a certain little black pig's hoofprints...
Episode 2 is my favorite. Its rainy and all off Happosai's fireworks for his Happo-fire burst get too soggy to work. He developes the mold burst and soon the Tendo house is covered with fuzzy mold. This one has my sister and I laughing hysterically from the very begging.
Episode three is where Kodachi steals her "dear" brother's album with the "embarrasing pictures of the pigtailed girl. Is it too hard for Kuno too apologize for destroying her poster of Ranma?

This volume of Evangelion, containing episodes 15 and 16, is superb. Mysteries deepen when Misato realizes Kaji knows more about NERV than he lets on, and she is left to wonder what NERV's true intentions are. Then in episode 16, Shinji is taken into an Angel where he suffers hallucinations and despair. NERV will do everything it takes to get Unit-01 back... Even if it means killing the pilot. Relationships between characters take severe turns in this volume. Don't miss it!

Not bad for older looking anime. I love Escaflowne and The Record of Lodoss War, and didn't really think this would prove all that great. I was very entertained! The ending however is kind of pathetic. It's still worth while...check it out.
